The Swimming Pool Operator level 2 course offers participants an advanced educational experience focused on swimming pool operations, expanding on the knowledge gained in Pool Operator Level 1. Through this course, participants will deepen their understanding of topics such as water clarity, air quality, filtration systems, water treatment, and preventive maintenance. They will develop problem-solving skills to address complex issues encountered by swimming pool operators, including challenges related to water quality, filtration, disinfection, pathogens, and biofilm. Additionally, participants will gain expertise in advanced water treatment practices, including the use of oxidation techniques and supplemental treatment systems. They will also learn about the lifecycle management of swimming pool facilities and the importance of preventive maintenance in optimizing their efficiency and longevity. By completing this course, participants will be equipped with the advanced knowledge and skills required to ensure water safety, maintain optimal pool conditions, and effectively manage swimming pool facilities.

NOTE: Students will be required to complete a group project and take-home exam. Evening work is required.
