The Arena 2 is a comprehensive 32-hour course designed to provide participants with an in-depth understanding of refrigeration systems. This program covers all aspects of a refrigeration system and detailed operation of the properties of different refrigerants, brine systems, receivers and evaporators, compressors, evaporators/chillers, controls, maintenance tasks, and troubleshooting techniques, preventative maintenance, life cycle planning, arena safety and risk management.

Through this course, participants will develop a strong foundation in refrigeration principles and learn how to operate and maintain arena ice plants safely and effectively. They will learn about the functions and purposes of various system components and understand how to perform maintenance tasks to ensure optimal system performance.
