This course provides participants with a comprehensive understanding of swimming pool operations, covering topics such as water circulation/filtration, chlorine and saltwater chemistry, water balance, pool diseases, and water testing. Participants will gain proficiency in pool system maintenance, including calculating pool surface area and volume, troubleshooting circulation system issues, and maintaining different types of filtration systems. They will also acquire knowledge of water treatment and safety, learning how to control water balance factors and apply disinfection techniques. Additionally, participants will become familiar with regulations, best practices, and equipment related to swimming pool operations. By the end of the course, participants will be equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge to confidently manage swimming pools while ensuring compliance with regulations and maintaining water safety.
