Join our two-day course on park and sport field operations to acquire essential skills and knowledge in this field. Throughout the course, you will develop the ability to identify and evaluate park and sport field spaces, understanding their significance and the benefits they bring to communities. Secondly, you will gain knowledge in turf management, including different grass types, effective turf maintenance techniques, and best practices for seed and sod. Additionally, you will understand irrigation systems, including when and how to implement irrigation for efficient water management. You will also learn the principles of ball diamond construction and maintenance, covering aspects such as slope and drainage considerations, infield and turf options, and the pros and cons of different approaches.
